About Us

About Us

Nestled in the hills of Lee County Virginia, Lee Memorial Park was founded by J. Livingston Dillow and others in the early 1950s.  The first burial on record was on November 26, 1953.  The cemetery was sold to Terry Estep, H. Ronnie Montgomery, and Billy Frazier in 1977 and the name was changed to Lee Memorial Gardens Inc.  During this time Lee Memorial Gardens was expanded with the acquisition of additional land for the Hickory Flats area and the addition of the Rose Hill Park-West site.  On December 31, 2015, Lee Memorial Gardens was acquired by Douglas McConnell and Jason McConnell.  The McConnells are committed to preserving the quality and beauty of Lee Memorial Gardens for all generations.
